Area Measurement

Guide for measuring area in different view modes

Area measurement is currently only available in Plan Mode. To start, open the Measurement Panel.

  1. Select the Area option.
  2. Click to define the first point of area you want to measure.
  3. Add additional points by clicking around the area you wish to measure.
  4. Complete the measurement by clicking back on the first point (this point will highlight red).
  5. The area measurement is shown in the middle of the selected area.
  6. Update the name and description (optional).
  7. Choose a tag to link the point to (optional).
  8. Click 'Save'.

Editing Area Measurements

You can easily adjust the defined area of a measurement to refine your work. Here’s how:

Add a New Point

  • Hover between two corners of the area.
  • A temporary intermediate point will appear.
  • Click and drag this point to a new location.
  • The new point will be added, and the area measurement will update in real time.

Remove a Point

  • Simply right-click on any point to remove it.

This makes it simple to adjust your measurements as your project evolves.

Saving and Searching.

Once you've completed and saved your area measurement, you can easily edit or locate it again using the search features. See Measurement Overview for further information.
