Filter Presets

How to use filtering presets during Search

Filter Presets

To enhance search capabilities in R2S, you can narrow down results by applying filters based on the dataset’s metadata. These filters can be saved as presets, making it quick and easy to access the data that matters most to you.

To access a saved preset, click the 'Select a preset' dropdown in the search panel (1). You’ll see a list of all previously created presets ready for selection.

Create a Preset

You need to have the correct permissions to create and edit presets. To create a preset simply:

  1. Select the dataset(s) you wish to filter.
  2. Click 'Show filters' to open the filtering panel.
  3. Select one or more filters to be applied.
  4. Click 'Save Filter Preset' at the bottom.
  5. You set the visibility of your preset to be either 'Public' or 'Private'
  6. Name the preset and add a description, if required.

This lets you create presets for things like:

  • High-Risk (2) - everything with a risk rating > 15
  • Overdue (3) - everything with a target completion date up to today
