Filter Presets

How to use filtering presets during Search

Filter Presets

We have added the ability for users to create and save presets whilst using Search. This means that users can quickly and easily view their most important data. To access a preset, simply click the preset dropdown in the search panel (1). A list of all previously made presets will be presented.

Create a Preset

Users with the corresponding permission can create, and edit presets. To create a preset simply:

  • Select the dataset(s) you wish to filter
  • Click 'Show filters' to open the filtering panel
  • select one or more filters to be applied
  • click 'Save Filter Preset' at the bottom
  • Give you Preset a name and - if required - a description.

This allows users to create presets for things such as:

  • High-Risk (2 - everything with a risk rating > 15),
  • Overdue (3 - everything with a target completion date up to today)
