Latest Update and Changes
This update was released on April 1st and added some new features, some bug fixes and improvements to performance.
Security
We've introduced domain whitelisting. If a user with an email address from a whitelisted domain is invited or requests access, they can enter the application immediately—bypassing the approval process and streamlining onboarding.
This setting can be turned off or on at the Admin level, and as many domains can be added as needed.
Performance
We've significantly improved performance. Users accessing point clouds will see 30–40% faster loading times. Additionally, we've refined the render settings to enhance point cloud visuals.
Datasets
You can now clone a Tag Dataset from another project - including all metadata fields, significantly reducing setup time.
User Preferences
R2S will now 'remember' a large amount of settings.
Layers
Any changes you make in the layers panel will be saved. For example, if you hide the Equipment Tags dataset, it will remain hidden—even after restarting your computer—until you turn it back on.
A 'Filters applied' notification will be shown in the viewer, allowing you to toggle the filter off or on, or clear the filter entirely.
Point Cloud
Any changes you make to the view settings of the point cloud will also be remembered.
Bug Fixes
Multiple small bugs were also fixed in this release.
