This update was released on April 30th and added some significant new features, some bug fixes and improvements to performance.
In this update we made a significant change to the filtering. The filter options now opens in a new panel to the side, giving users more room to view and select filtering options. This also allows users to see a larger list of the filtered items.
To enable filtering, users must first select dataset(s) to be filtered (1). After selection, the Show Filters button will be enabled.
In the new Filter Panel, users are now able to select multiple options per metadata field for filtering (2). Once users start typing in each field, a list of available options will be displayed (3). To remove one or more options, click the small cross next to each selection. The list of tags and the viewer will update as users change their filter options.
Users can easily clear all filters by clicking the cross on the pill showing the total number of filters (5). Users can remove an individual filter by selecting the small cross next to the filter name (6), or you can temporarily show/hide the filter by toggling the Show Results button in the filter notification section (7).
This update included the ability for users to have a list of items in the metadata field of tags. The list options can be set in the Integrate tab (for those with correct permissions), or via API.
Multiple small bugs were also fixed in this release.
